Tropical Cyclone Domeng (Peipah) weakened into a tropical depression Monday afternoon, but PAGASA said parts of Mindanao, Cagayan Valley and Visayas may still expect thunderstorms.

In its 5 p.m. bulletin, PAGASA said Tropical Depression Domeng was estimated at 670 km east of Davao City as of 4 p.m., with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center.

Domeng is forecast to move west-northwest at 13 kph, it added.

But the Japan Meteorological Agency, in its 5:45 p.m. update, still considered Domeng a tropical storm, adding it could intensify on Wednesday.

“Mindanao and the regions of Cagayan Valley, Eastern and Central Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms,” PAGASA said in its update.

It added Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be “partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.”

Also, it said moderate to strong winds from the northeast will prevail over northern and eastern section of the country and the coastal waters along this area will be moderate to rough.

About Earth Changes Media w/ Mitch Battros

Mitch Battros is a scientific journalist who is highly respected in both the scientific and spiritual communities due to his unique ability to bridge the gap between modern science and ancient text. Founded in 1995 – Earth Changes TV was born with Battros as its creator and chief editor for his syndicated television show. In 2003, he switched to a weekly radio show as Earth Changes Media. ECM quickly found its way in becoming a top source for news and discoveries in the scientific fields of astrophysics, space weather, earth science, and ancient text. Seeing the need to venture beyond the Sun-Earth connection, in 2016 Battros advanced his studies which incorporates our galaxy Milky Way - and its seemingly rhythmic cycles directly connected to our Solar System, Sun, and Earth driven by the source of charged particles such as galactic cosmic rays, gamma rays, and solar rays. Now, "Science Of Cycles" is the vehicle which brings the latest cutting-edge discoveries confirming his published Equation.
