A twister did touch down about 5 miles from Decker late Monday, which is in Sanilac County.

Another tornado was also confirmed about 5 miles from Millington, this time in Tuscola County.

The National Weather Service has not yet rated the strength of those tornadoes.

WNEM TV5 has received reports of multiple houses being damaged in those locations.

Officials are also investigating damage reports in Birch Run Township.

Strong winds uprooted multiple trees, with many falling onto RVs in the Pine Ridge RV Campground.

Some minor injuries have been reported as a result of these intense storms.

Authorities also say a tornado damaged buildings in Washtenaw County, knocking down homes, trees and power in other parts of Michigan.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Joseph Clark said the tornado was reported about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday just outside of Manchester, southwest of Ann Arbor.

No injuries were reported.

Several homes in the Jackson area were damaged by severe storms that moved across Michigan.

Jackson County Sheriff Steven Rand says his office responded to 75 calls for service Monday night related to the storm.

The Jackson Citizen Patriot reports multiple roads were closed Tuesday in the wake of the storm, which downed trees and power lines.

Rand says at least four homes sustained extensive damage. He’s urging people to be careful around downed power lines and trees.
